Govt hospitals in Surat stop taking in new patients

Two of the biggest Covid-19 hospitals in the region — the New Civil Hospital (NCH) and the Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research (SMIMER) — have closed their gates to new patients on Wednesday. This, the administrations attribute to the acute shortage of oxygen supply.
