HC stays GO transferring idol theft cases to CBI

Noting that a Tamil Nadu government order transferring temple idol theft cases from the idol wing police to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) cannot stand even a minute, the Madras high court on Tuesday stayed the operation of the order.
