Bank deposits grew by 12.3% in third quarter

Volatile stock markets and overall economic uncertainty have propelled investors to retain their bank deposits, which showed a handsome 12.3% growth in the third quarter of 2020-21. Bank deposits in Gujarat stood at Rs 8.41 lakh crores from Rs 7.49 lakh crores in the corresponding quarter of 2019-20, according to the latest report by State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) -Gujarat
