Green Samaritans replant fresh hope for 500 trees

It was heartbreaking to see about 2,240 trees of Ahmedabad being extirpated in a matter of two days when Tauktae swept through the city. But the hope that some trees can survive is still alive in a few Green Samaritans of Ahmedabad. They worked through the night to salvage about 500 uprooted trees. The initiative was undertaken from Tuesday night till Friday.
