Surat records 2,188 fresh Covid cases

The Surat district recorded 2,188 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday out of which 1,795 cases were reported from the city area, while 393 cases from rural areas. Total 24 deaths were recorded due to Covid-19 — 18 in the city and six in the district.
