Ahmedabad-made flag hoisted at Times Square

The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) of the tri-state area – New York, New Jersey and Connecticut – on August 15 marked India’s 75th Independence Day by hoisting a tricolour at Times Square in New York. It was the second consecutive year that the organization hosted this event.
