Cops probe if Swiss murder was part of trafficking ring

Police have launched a financial investigation into the murder of Swiss national Nina Berger in Delhi. Suspect Gurpreet Singh's account revealed high-value transactions, and unaccounted cash was found in a car he had used. Police are also exploring the possibility of Gurpreet's involvement in a trafficking racket and his motive for killing Nina. The Enforcement Directorate and income tax officials have been informed, and the Economic Offences Wing may initiate a parallel investigation. Gurpreet was found in possession of firearms, ammunition, and petrol, raising suspicions of his involvement in criminal activities.
